World of Warcraft: Classic is just around the corner and choosing what class to play is a massive decision to make. Unlike in Battle for Azeroth where you can level from 1-120 in just a few days or buy a boost, in Classic, leveling a character from 1-60 can take months. Hopefully this video will make choosing your Classic class a bit easier. Here are my top 5 reasons why you should play a warlock!

The coolest thing with being a warlock in Classic WoW (or TBC or WotLK), is that you have computer controlled demon friends, and the demons’ models are way better than in Legion and forward. The disadvantage in Classic WoW, unlike TBC and WotLK, is that the imp doesn’t have his voice overs, that you hear, like:
”This was not in my contract!”
”Aaaaargh, start sending the little guy!” (or what he says)
”Is this really necessary?”
”Can’t we all just get along?”

I really look forward to hearing those imp voice overs again when Classic TBC soon comes.

The voidwalker looks so cool in his black and blue colors in Classic WoW (and TBC and WotLK), and he talks cool, just like the imp and the succubus.

And the succubus is pretty, of course (In real life, I am a man who falls in love with women). As a male warlock in WoW, I see my succubus as my girlfriend, and it’s a pity that she is so weak and dies so easily, unlike the voidwalker and the felguard.

And like i said in the beginning of this comment, I, as a warlock in WoW, see my demons as my friends, and NOT my slaves or minions. And it’s quite a pity that the imp and the voidwalker dislike ”their jobs as the warlock’s friends/minions”, and that makes the warlock feel a little sad, which I actually feel, although all I have to do is pretend that they actually are my friends and actually like me. But considering the succubus’ voice overs, she LIKES her job as the warlock’s friend/minion.

P.S. It’s a pity that a warlock cannot give their demons an own name, just like a hunter can name their pets.

This is actually quite funny, nothing against you or your vid but i've just watched 3 vids about warlocks and in every vid the same thing happened, the part where you talk about warlocks pulling multiple mobs and the voidwalker holding aggro, it happens right as the voidwalker Looses aggro and the Locks getting bashed by the mob, in all 3 peoples vids :)

I'm on a normal server (don't like PvP servers) so I don't mind taking my time leveling up. Anyway, I have toons on both factions (I love both Alliance and Horde) I have an undead Warlock, Hunter Troll, and Night Elf because I started my characters on the day name reservations started. I'll start several more when the game is launched and your max characters are raised. Anyway, I say whatever race or class interest you then, by all means, start one because like regular WoW you can have 10 per server and up to 50 total. Try your hand at several classes, I mean my fave is Hunter (Worgen) but I also love Lock, Mage, Rogue, and Shaman.

The bagspace is a bit of a lame reason since you lose bagspace or even bagslot to shards.

I played WOW from when it dropped, played for years straight on through to MoP and then, well it was a combination of things, but I had to stop and I planed on coming back in a year at most, but when I said MoP you can tell, it was a lot longer than a year.

Im a retired Captain of the fire department, and really ive not much to do and so reuting is a thought ive had, o was injured and medically forced to retire, and some days I'm stuck in bed and having a good game like Wow would be great. Although i also know how addictive it can be.

So I had moved back from Az to Ca moving stuff was one reason, wanting a better newer computer was another, I was finishing up training and my medical stuff tome was getting tight when i could play ....
But probably what really did it.

So back when the highest your toon could get was I think 75 or 80, i know it wasnt higher than 80...but there is a most famous quest you do as a lock to get your fel green fire.

I attempted that every night, for about a year, then every other night for about a year then two nights a week for a year then once a week, something like that was a really long hard grinde for me, I tried and died, and its like a solo dungeon really, you have to do it alone, so no friends, it was really super hard, when this was new, I tried well up into seeing cap level 95 and I finally got it, my toon was raised up, she spun in the ball, I was so happy I am not ashamed to say it, but i very nearly cried, and then THE POWER WENT OUT!!!
When power returned and I got back on several hours later, no green fire.
So I called blizz poured my heart out and they could only see i fought and might have won but it didn't give me the fire the operator argued it just didn't drop to play the dgn again and better luck I explained its not a dng its a quest it has 100% chance of getting it when you beat whats his face demon called Ive forgot now...anyway to my horror, they wouldnt give me my green fire which was wrong I was able to tell them each step in the cinematic what happened what was said had i not won then how would I know these events I had no other toon that was a lock it absolutely pissed me off so much so I daid Ive had enough and i passed my guild to a trusted member who I found out shortly later gave it to someone else and they left I have no idea if my guild is still around our not.
Heart breaking especially when the operator says to me we will never just give this away its an honor to get this....its now a customization you can make on you lock with like a glph now lol cracks me up.

Well anyway YES back in vanilla the quests that were tailored to your class was awesome, I actually started as a Horde player but people were so rude to me, I cancelled that toon and made an alliance toon and that's where I stayed, sorry, maybe you Horde need to think about your welcome wagon program a bit more and add cookies....and manners.

Class quests were epic and just absolutely so wonderful I'd love to be able to experience them again and I guess its been out for a while but a friend I lost contact with I just recently found on FB we got to talking and I said nope unless they somehow bring classic OG WoW back I don't see me returning was getting stupid and too complicated.
He said guess what ..

Lock quests was absolutely that traveling around the world learning your skills, dark secrets and taking down a corrupt cult that was tortuing demons you also had a handful of mystery cases to solve along the way, a missing persons, a murder who done it, and a search and rescue.

Same with a priest, I rolled a disc priest, lol the short hands are coming back to me, that was fun, also mystery cases a crooked organization within the Abbott or Church, a missing dawrf in Ellweynn forest turns out he died and you get to resurrect him, man I think you learned that at like lvl 10 or 12.

I miss the classic days and now that I'm told I can relive them again and now being retired, pretty tempting.

Thanks for reading, and thabks for the lock video. ❤

the infernal has been nerfed on classic, it disappear when dismissed instead of attacking the players around
also you can't enslave elite demons

very sad

I'm planning on playing WOW for the first time when classic releases. Is there anywhere I can find people or a guild to help me since this will all be so new to me? Now that I'm out of college and have more time I'm excited to give it a try.
