mam, I have a doubt that if u dip the colorless leaf in iodine solution, how can the green spots be identified so that the color changes to blue I really can't understand this part mam

mam now actually when we heated the leaf in alcohol, leaf became colourless that is there is no chlorophyll . after that u told in the green portion of the leaf only starch will be present, but as of now the leaf is colourless so no starch...when we add iodine, if the starch is present only it will turn into blue colour..no green colour, so no starch, no starch means how will the leaf become blue?? pls explain mam

mam i have a doubt in activity6.1 => all green colour is removed when it is dipped in alcoholic solutionn and heated it and how can that leaf can turn blue when iodine solution is added to it
