Top 5 Maruti Suzuki Upcoming Cars in India 2016-2017-

1. Maruti Suzuki Ignis-
The Maruti Suzuki Ignis, showcased at the 2016 edition of the Auto Expo, the upcoming sub-compact crossover SUV has already started testing in India.
Maruti Suzuki says the car will be launched here during the 2016 festive season. Based on the i-M4 concept, Maruti Suzuki Ignis sub-compact crossover-SUV measures 3,700mm in length, 1,660mm in width, and 1,595mm in height. It gets a wheelbase of 2,435mm and an impressive ground clearance of 180mm.

2. Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza Petrol
The Maruti Vitara Brezza petrol is likely to be powered by the 1.0-litre EcoBoost turbocharged unit that will debut on the Baleno RS.
This engine develops 110bhp of power at 5500rpm and 170Nm of torque between 2000-3000rpm. Similar to the diesel version, the Brezza petrol too could be launched in multiple variants. Maruti will also bring in an AMT equipped model of the compact SUV towards the end of this year.

3. Maruti Suzuki Wagon R 7-Seater MPV
The Wagon R 7-seater will be the company's first ever sub-compact MPV, expected to be launched by the end of this year. The multi-seater variant of the hatchback will come with a higher ground clearance, lots of comfort and safety gizmos and a capacity to accommodate 7 occupants.
The 7-seater Wagon R will feature the same 1.0-litre K-Series engine that powers the regular hatchback model and the Maruti Suzuki Swift hatchback will continue to be powered by 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine that develops 74bhp and 190Nm of maximum torque.

4. Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS
Buoyed with the successful launch of the Baleno, Maruti Suzuki India is now gearing up to bring-in a performance version of the hatchback. Called the Maruti Baleno RS, this variant will be powered by a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder turbocharged BoosterJet petrol engine. This powertrain generates a maximum power output of 110bhp against 170Nm of torque.
Currently, this premium hatchback is available with a 1.2-litre VVT petrol and 1.3-litre DDiS diesel powertrain options. The company claims that Baleno RS will be high on performance. With some changes both inside and out, the Baleno RS looks edgier and sportier than the regular model.

5. Maruti Suzuki Swift AMT
After Celerio, Alto K10, Wagon R, and DZire, the Maruti Suzuki Swift hatchback will be the fifth car from the company's line-up to get the AGS gearbox.
The Maruti Suzuki Swift hatchback will continue to be powered by 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine that develops 74bhp and 190Nm of maximum torque. The hatchback will also get the same 4-speed automated manual transmission sourced from Magneti Marelli albeit only with the diesel engine.
