Demons in devil may cry are objectively the bad guys, to the point that Sparda is a legend BECAUSE he didn't go along with the crowd. The number of born demons(not turned into demons) who aren't actively hostile to humans can be counted on one hand.

The weird producer used Devil May Cry to preach current day left leaning American politics. Totally butchered this IP. If I were Capcom, I would demand my IP to be written by a Japanese writer and Netflix only do dubbing and distribution. A lot of current Hollywood writers are just below par.
