The 63 I.Q. Sadistic Serial Killer…

Have you ever met a person who lives in one of the more suspicious neighborhoods in town but seems out of place? He’s a nice guy. He greets the children and families in the neighborhood, and helps his neighbors in any way he can. He’s almost too good to be true. You wish you could somehow pay to get him to live somewhere other than that ghetto because you fear that the environment will badly influence him sooner or later.

You fear it will, but it never seems to happen. That is, of course, until you realize that it already did - a long time ago, in fact.

Welcome or welcome back to Twisted Minds, my name is James, and today we are going to be looking at someone who has a twisted mind, literally. Harrison Frank “Marty” Graham was a man who, despite being intellectually-disabled, managed to kill seven women in the space of about a year, without getting caught.

Why did he do it? How did he do it? More interestingly, why is Marty in inverted commas?
Well, you are about to find out.

"He was given six death sentences and one life sentence"

"He would serve his life sentence before his death sentence"

why are court sentencings such nonsense

He literally had skeletons in his closet. He took that saying to the extreme.

He tried to convince the detectives that the decomposing bodies and skeletons were already in the apartment when he first moved in. Strangely, the detectives didn't believe him. I would've thought it's a fairly common occurrence.

The fact that someone with ~60 iq can be a serial killer shows what I always suspected - it doesnt take that much of a brain matter to kidnap someone or conceal a murder, it takes a lot more to not get caught by a murderer or for police to catch them.

In under 15 minutes you tell a story like this from start to end with all the necessary details. That's impressive. I like these because they're short enough for me to concentrate on them.

Describing your introduction to sex work and drugs as being the first time you felt real love is incredibly sad. It pretty much screams, "this isn't going to end well!"😕

You really do cover the lesser known serial killers one that I wasn't previously familiar with anyway

I love how remorseless killers will fight with all they have to avoid the death penalty. But if you were sane enough to cover up or try to cover up your crimes, you’re sane enough to pay for them. This bloke got away with mass murder.

Six decomposing bodies in that apartment!? Could you just imagine the stench? How could it have taken so long to call the police?🤢☠️

Why didn't the subsequent girlfriends smell the decomposition. That's nasty! It would have been pretty strong. Thank you James @Twisted Minds. RIP to all the victims ☆

THANKFULLY SOMEBODY COVERED THIS!! He was operating about the same time as Gary Heidnik so it got no coverage. Also that's a good story to cover. I'm from Philly.

I wonder if that IQ test was correct. They thought my aunt was low IQ, but she was very physically ill, which was diagnosed later. After treatment, she tested much higher. People can do poorly on tests for a lot of reasons, like trauma, lack of sleep, lack of knowledge (which it is not supposed to measure), inattention, or cultural bias. My dad was legally blind and learned to read very late, after diagnosis. Some criminals try to fail the test so they can be ruled incompetent. I tutored parolees, and one told me he did! He was not slow. I just wonder how you could get away with killing so much people with a 63 IQ.

You cannot "rehabilitate " serial killers. They enjoy killing and feel no remorse.

The whole building was smelling decomposing bodies for many months. How disgusting. Why would other woman be willing to go inside such a stinky apartment, must have been the drugs.

Listening to this case made me wonder if the murderer would have a better outcome if he had better care with his disability.

I have read a lot of John Dunning (RIP) books, he was a crime reporter and one guy had 4 bodies and he got caught. I cannot understand how 4 bodies were not detected earlier in this case. I have smelled death in small animals a lot and it is unmistakable once saponification starts, I would never miss the smell of a decomposing adult human and may possibly vomit because it would be so strong.

I literally laughed out loud when it was said he tried to convince Detectives the decomposing bodies and skeletons were already there when he moved in! 😂🤣

Being from the Philly area. I remember this story. It happened around the Gary Heinick (sp?) story.
They both were very horrific and sadistic.
Thank You for covering this story.

A death sentence goes into effect only after the life sentence???? Wtf!!!?? That’s just called dying in prison of old age.

Putting in those fly sounds was genius. It sounded so realistic I had to rewind it and play it again to make sure it wasn't really swarming around my face lol 4:58
