Good stuff, Tim. I will admit, as soon as I click play on one of your videos, I try and say, "Hi, this is Tim!" at the same time you do. I'm getting pretty good at it. My moms proud....

Mate, this is very informative. I was having difficulties to get the idea behind the drives and how they work. Your thorough explanation helped a lot to put the bricks in place. 🙂 Thank you.

AN OTHER A M A Z I N G VIDEO that saves my A****😂!!!!Thank you for all your efforts in making these videos!!!Awesome!!! I need to control 1 of those AC servo motor with a Raspberry pi and by just listening I think I have a clue 😅: feed an analog signal(0-10V as you are doing in here) to the motor; I'm planning to generate the signal with the RPi PMW and have some sort of hardware that would eventually output a range of 0-10V signal; and that's it; I would add few buttons/switches for the enable, reset and EmergencySwitch. I'm planning all this if the actual driver/controller supports DIO and AIO a the same time 😬😬🤞🏼🤞🏼thank you for the inspiration

Hi Tim. a video about the different types of servo motion control would be cool if you ever find the time. like stand alone servos, bus based, open architecture, ect.

lol that was really cool! Can you please more videos about Servo motors? I have never used servo motors in my life and I have a big project coming up where I need to position a wood sawing blade on the right place. Can you make a video of how to use the positioning mode?

Tim, is there a difference between a "servo" and an "indexing servo". I want a servo to do something once it sees the Photo-Eye and gets enough encoder pulses. Then based on some inputs for start, and dwell, it cycles and goes back to a zero position. Thanks for you help.
