Ok so this could be used for when "that player" wants to switch his characters AGAIN. They get taken by bagman, an item left in exchange, giving the party the freedom to go on a side quest to search for their lost member, meeting their new cast mate along the way, and the kidnapped character to bow out of adventure due to the ptsd from being bagnapped, but giving the players and characters a chance for closure and an awesome story.

I heard somewhere you can summon him by whispering "Follow my voice" into a Bag of Holding three times. So of course, my first idea was to empty one, whisper three times, then chuck it into a room full of bad guys.

My DM actually did this scenario once

I went to grab a knife so I could help a friend and instead I got sent to the fucking shadow realm

Whelp, I'm never using a bag of holding again, and now all my characters have a level in Genie Lock instead.

Works great for a horror story or to troll your players. Just every time someone decides to take something out of the bag, roll three d6 dice IN FRONT OF THEM or ask them to roll and if they all land on 6, something grabs the player before letting go a split second later, wasting a turn if in combat or traumatizing them if not

One night around the campfire the group notices that one of their number is scribbling something down, the rouge sneaks a peak and see's they writ down the name of the plane, world, area and the current date on the note.

They then place some snacks and drink in a normal small bag with the note attached on the outside, then they place it in their bag of holding with the loop of the normal bag hanging on a hook sewn to the lip of magic bag.

The rest of the group asks whats the deal? They reply.

"Most times it's still there when I wake up... some times its not."

I would say that he’s the scariest monster, being that he can randomly appear in your house without you knowing where, when, or how he got in.

and once the players know this well it 's hench man's turn to hold the bang and roll those dice for that long rest , daddy needs a new immovable rod

I love how practically all of these videos are just a dude breaking into the DM‘s house to talk to him about random stuff

I have a version of this in my game right now! The party doesn't yet know why, but things keep going missing from their bag. A bottle of wine, a few gold pieces, and the preserved head of a dead false hydra have all just disappeared from their bag of holding so far

Maybe it is that all bag of holding are connected and it could explain why putting one inside another make them explode because you try to shove portal to a dimension through another portal
