'My Baby Just Cares For Me'

Показать описание
Ed Rambeau and I present our newest duet... "My Baby Just Cares For Me."
Ed debuted this song on his radio show, this evening, and we now present it to you!
This song was originally written as a jazz standard by Walter Donaldson, with lyrics by Gus Kahn. It was sung by Eddie Cantor and it was later covered by Nina Simone in 1957. It then went on to be covered by Nat King Cole, Dean Martin, Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra and many others.
In this particular version, Ed wrote some unique lyrics and changed it from the original. That allowed us to add a bit of a comedic element to the song. And it's all very fitting since the song was originally written for a musical comedy.
We hope you all enjoy it!
