A Race Against Time To Save 3 Innocent Souls From Being Put To Death

These precious babies were saved with only minutes to spare. You may have heard that term before, but we actually mean that they were set to be euthanized at 5:00 pm with absolutely NO exceptions, and we got there at 4:56 pm.

This was the second time that these cats had faced death in the last week. All were sentenced to death due to horrible injuries and sicknesses that were just too much for the shelter to have to worry about.

When we received word that they were going to be put to death, and SOON, so we rearranged our entire schedule to break them free. We came up against every obstacle, and at one point we thought that we were going to lose them. We are so thankful that things worked out the way they did, and that their lives were spared. Now, we had to get to the bottom of what plagued these poor kittens.

One of the kittens was suffering from Mycoplasma which is a gnarly infection that invades the red blood cells. The siamese kitten had bloody urine and was HIGHLY aggressive. Last but not least, the last sweet kitten was run down by a car. They all needed urgent medical attention, and that is exactly what we will give them.

Please, would you help us care for these precious souls? They have seen the dark side of life too many times, and now all we want to do is care for them and show them that there is good in the world. Any amount you can give is a huge help as they will need ongoing care.
