It has been over 10 years since I first started decorating for fall and we were going through a phase of having extra people in our home who were going through hard times and needed to stay with us for a while. Our finances were taking a huge hit feeding people as well as a bigger electric bill and I had LOTS of ideas and not much money. I took $10 out of my weekly grocery budget for a few weeks and the Dollar Tree was where I started! Pumpkins and fall leaves are all that is needed to get started! Thanks for being SO inspiring!

Hi little girl - I am a 72 year old Texas Grandmother. I loved all your ideas and everything looked so nice. It did my heart good to see a young lady who was trying to stay within her budget. As I get older I am amazed to see how much the younger people are not even thinking of saving money. Believe me when you get my age you will see how important it is to live within your means.
