i’ve been getting a loin from them every year for the past 3 years to make beef wellington for my family at christmas! it’s always a hit even with my dad who is usually very skeptical of vegan food.

Just to put it into perspective: the juicy marbles loin comes at 50€/kg in Europe where as a beef tenderloin checks in at 50-75€/kg. So yes, this product is expensive but it is in an equal if not lower price class compared to the animal product. As it should be, because the soy didn't need to pass through a cow before consumed by a human. Juicy marbles looks amazing, I so want to try it

I saw the thumbnail and immediately knew it was Juicy Marbles!! Just ordered another 2 loins during a sale. Made a pot roast months ago, it has more of a corned beef texture but I'm all about it. So good! Still have the ribs in my freezer to try as well.

My husband is not vegetarian and he is OBSESSED! So much that he's got us buying it on the regular (the loin is $55 but it's like 4 meals for us so the price is really not terrible, especially when you compare it to real meat).

I love Juicy Marbles! There's also a brand here in NY called Chunk that is very similar and they're partnered with a bunch of restaurants that make incredibly delicious dishes with it.

0 The "ribs bones" are edible, too. They said there was a protein byproduct from making the meat, and they just pressed the protein into a rib shape.

The missing information here is the amount of product in that box. According to the website, each whole "loin" weighs 27 oz, so that makes it $55/27oz = $32/pound. Beef can get that expensive, but usually, it's the really high-end stuff.

Yes, if in America, they are a bit pricey. But worth it! I totally recommend getting the ribs and doing a dry rub on them 🤤. My family will get this for special occasions and it’s always a hit. Even my very closed minded, old southern black lady momma, couldn’t turn her nose up at it too much 😂. That should be all the ringing endorsement anyone needs 😂😂😂

I'm a meateater from Slovenia where the product was developed. So far I only tried their ribs and was actually blown away by them. And I also checked the price of the product you tried and it's 33€ here 💪 Lidl often sells their products and discounts them and it doesn't seem to pricey to me, compared to some meats. It's for sure not an everyday thing, but steaks etc. also aren't for most, I would say.

it‘s crazy how much it costs in the us! in austria we can get the small steaks at the supermarket and in comparison to other vegan “steaks” and also animal meat it really isn’t that expensive for the quality you get. the two steaks are ~7€ (which is more expensive than other vegan steaks but still a great price point) and the whole cut loin you used is ~ 30€ at a vegan online shop I shop from. the ribs are also available in the grocery store for ~14€, and they’re crazy good as well. 🥰 just love juicy marbles, what can i say 🤗

Thanks for sharing this, Merle! It looks amazing—I’ll definitely be trying it! Yes, it’s pricey, but no more expensive than a fancy cut of meat like filet mignon. So it seams good for a special occasion.
