iOS 18 Unable To Configure Display Error - resolved ( Screen and ear speaker as one part )

Since iOS 18 lets you pair original parts in replacement i wanted to try . This iPhone 12 mini had the screen replaced several months ago with genuine. However i was getting error unable to configure, and i figured out that it might be because i removed the ear speaker that was attached to the screen and used mine to keep Face ID. Now this turned out to be a problem , but once i connected the original ear speaker i was able to complete the calibration.

my display is change everything is working but i cant press restart and finish repair bcuz i updated lattest version 26 so ios beta is not supported showing their so what to do now ??😢😢

Hey, your Video give me the Information I need.
Do you know if I use a new Original Screen, with the Face ID Sensor from the old Display, I don’t have any Issues ?
Or you think Apple will Fix it, with the next IOS 18 Update.

Life saver using original apple screen replacement on iPhone 15 but it came with prox flex so Face ID worked but il use the original and retry thank u

i never hadd this issue until ios 18. does that mean when i had my screen replaced the technician swapped the speaker with an after marrket part aswell?

Has the screen been taken from an iCloud paired phone? I also have 12 mini and not sure what to expect when my new motherboard replacement comes. On the 16 it gets the parts Lock Screen from what I know.

After I done this on iPhone 12, I lose Face ID obviously forever.. Because I don't have the original screen from that motherboard to run the pairing once again and pair the previous earpiece flex that the Face ID worked with.

Hi, i swapped my display for original one but not proximity sensor and now display says it is not genuine. You said in some comment that its possible that in 18.1 this would be fixed, is that true ? its iphone 13 pro btw

I get the same error ''Unable to configure'' whith an aftermarket screen. Is this fixable in any way? I have the original screen and im using the original earpice cable.

Bro I have same problem on iPhone 12 Pro. What to do ? I change the lcd and now this same message saying I need to configure it is appearing. A repairer did the change. It says restart your device to configure the display. I don’t know what to do.
