I actually liked this episode alot I don’t mind the few inconsistencies it’s bound to happen, it tends to happen with every show and movie series at some point . But this was great I’m loving the series

I thought that the scene with Dexter drawing Harry in was meant to be a more wholesome/parallel version of when harrison draws (Hannah or lumen) and the cop knocks on dexters door and he’s drawing his new family. It felt like a very similar scene but different feel to it as Harry acc accepts and ends up fulfilling the picture (somewhat) while Dexter doesn’t end up doing the same for his kid. Maybe reading too much into things but it def reminded me of that scene for some reason

I don’t like how they got dex stoned it completely undermines him as a narrator. Remember Deb talking to doaks and saying he’d never do much as smoked a cigarette. Dex also said he wished he’d tried weed but never had.

Remember this show is all of Dexters memories as he is being saved. Its not an objective or reliable perspective. The show is memories not the actual in universe past. Thus also why Dr V doesnt show up.

Right off the bat, no it is not an inconsistency with him saying he has not smoked weed before. He hasn’t. But he did try weed brownies, as we see.
