CES 2013: Hands-On with Polaroid's Android Camera

Should a digital camera run Android OS? Polaroid thinks so. We explore how Polaroid integrates this smartphone OK into a camera system, and how its interchangeable lens system is different from what Sony and Olympus are doing with their compact cameras.

Cameras have had computers in them for quite some time, it's just that this one is running the Android OS on it.

Umm to be honest mom and pop are probably more comfortable with interchangeable lenses than us 20 somethings.

Polaroid is dead. they just bought the rights to the names in the bankruptcy sale, now they can slap a name that use to mean something on whatever they please. I used to love Polaroids. I think Z-ink was their last good invention and hope that will continue. Hopefully the investors are working on slim-ish smartphone with a built in Z-ink printer. I'd pay at least $400 with a 2 year plan if it's a good phone with an good OS
