Great video Mr Beady. Explains it very well and love the fact you admitted you can charge cheap to get a run back. Might sounds simple but guess it's easy to get greedy.

If you have a lwb van, watch out for local jobs at around 25 miles for a small van! These are well worth bidding for £50. Quite often they are regular jobs for larger courier firms and you will win the bid as they want to keep the contract. Great filler jobs when it’s quiet 👍

Hi Big Beardy, loving your videos they are enormously helpful thank you. Question if I may; how hard is it to get into and around London? I see a lot of jobs going that way but having never driven in the old smoke I won’t lie it fills me with a sense of dread. I imagine it to be utter chaos and massively confusing, is it that bad? Thanks, John

Hi, I've just retired but want to spend a few years doing some delivery/collection work. I have a decent van from my previous work. I would appreciate if you could point me in the direction of how to find work. I don't want multi-drop, but single drop/collection longer distance jobs would be ideal. I have looked at CX but don't know how they work. Are there any other job sources out there please ?

My cousin is sayin he averages £130-200 a day. How is that possible in a mwb van when only 0.75p a mile.

Then he say he was gonna pick up a parcel from bristol to warrington for £240. I think allot of people chatting rubish or aint it?

Got rid of my xlwb boxer as struggled to get more than 85p a mile... short drops more per mile.. I'm in a small van and charge anywhere from .60p a.mile to get me the right direction to 65 70p for normal.. also Whack on £ for any jobs going to the sticks.. your last bit about bidding £50 not the normal £80 to get you home and.pay petrol is in my opinion wrong it ruins it for the rest

Hi Big Beardy, please do let us know how would you charge a London job, let’s say for example From: NW10 To: SW6, there are only 7 miles, so definitely you won’t charge £1.20 per mile
