We finally get a breath of fresh air in the Metagame. So glad to see so many viable decks. I just hope they don't mess it up again with another absurd mechanic like Mew/Genesect or Lugia/Archeops

While not obviously the top top Ive had very very good success with Arceus Vulpix/Aero/Espeon variants. People arent teching things in and sometimes they just instantly win the matchups.

I've been playing a Lugia/TTar deck lately and Gardevior ex gives me trouble. Usually comes down to a single prize. 50/50. Very fun matchup. Spidops ex and darkrai vstar are my fun anti meta decks but when they brick, they brick (luck vs. consistency). But they feel great when they win! There's a lot of variety of decks. I'm winless against Rapid strike Inteleon Vmax. That's the biggest surprise I've seen the past few days battling.

I personally love darkrai as a pretty strong rogue option (also my first ever pull of SAR), and I use Dialga and Lugia as my meta option dialga with how fun it is when you can one shot any poke on my own two turn and Lugia since Lugia is my favourite legendary (with Crystal being my first pokemon game ever) and how strong the card is thx to my one favourite 5th gen poke archeops is just the cherry on top 👌

excited to see how lost zone aragonite does. Im expecting to see a lot of vulpix to try to counter lost box. Dragonite helps kill it along with tyrann in one shot. Lost vacuum helps u get more cards into lost zone without milling

When the addition of jet energy becomes avaliable I think lugia vstar will quickly become the number 1 again sadly. I've kept firm on my choice to never play mew or lugia decks but I think I might actually cave come June just bc of jet energy 😅😅

Not so sure about lost box number 1 and lugia 2. My miraidon hardly loses to lost box on the ladder and I havent even seen a lugia deck (which I'm sure miraidon is just a straight counter). I have seen loads of miraidon though, so maybe miraidon is just too low?

I personally think Mew VMax is the strongest deck in the modern era. It’s so strong they created an entirely new card, drapion, just to counter it

To reiterate, just played 3 games after my initial post and all 3 were some form of worthless lost box. Yall are clueless if you think the current meta is "new" or "fun".
