I have a dual boot partition. Before the partition it was running only 10.8.5. The added partition runs 10.11.6. Can I erase 10.8.5 and reclaim the partition to use only 10.11.6? Thank you.

It was easy. I was able to follow this for my MacbookPro 2011. It was a little different, but I managed. I'm in the 'very bad with all things tech' category, and yours was simple enough to use compared to other instructionals I tried. Thanks
