The Giants need so many positions (stop the run, shut down corner) I would draft a CB, DT and more O-LINE. Perhaps Will Johnson and Mason Graham. Get a QB next year or after.

The giants drafted Travis Hunter and signing Darnold is a way better option then reaching for ward or sanders at the first pick

I wouldn't mind getting sam as a bridge quarterback for a couple of years until we get a quarterback that we like out to draft, even though I love cam Ward, he's not ready.Neither are a lot of the other q b's coming out this year.. We signed sam and then draft travis hunter. And then, with the rest of the picks..fulll in the gaps on the O line.

Remember he has a much better offensive line than what the giants can provide and better receivers and tight ends

I don’t think Darnold wants to come back to MetLife where he has had a horrible experience. I also think he wants to go to he best roster and situation possible.

Avoid the temptation to overcompensate for a single year of performance, which may be more indicative of the offensive strategies employed by the Minnesota Head Coach. If Darnold were considered a long-term solution, Minnesota would choose to re-sign him. The organization is familiar with Darnold's limitations, as he is already within their facility.

Draft a QB and sign a fill in QB so we don't screw up development on a young QB like the Giants and Jets have done the last 3 drafted QBs.

With a possible top 2 draft pick, the Giants have 2 options.

Option 1: sign Darnold (28yearsold), Possibly $50 million a year contract, and can draft a player like Travis Hunter (or trade back and get more picks).
Nabers, Hunter as WRs and continue to focus on Oline and CBs

Option 2: use draft pick for young QB you need to develop, use $50 million for other free agent signings

Just depends what route they want to go with and how they view the available QB prospects
