I am a Kawasaki fan and love the H2R, however I will certainly give the 'Busa credit where it is due... plus only relatively mild mods on it will give the big bore busa equality or a slight edge on acceleration... plus the fact that at high speeds, the 'Busa is absolutely more aerodynamic of the 2, and thus takes less power upgrades to go faster... this is why the ZX-14 and Hayabusa's are kings of the drag strip.

Fastest production bike of 20th century until Kawasaki cheated with H2R, cause all companies deal with europion union were to reduce its speed up to max 300 for publicsafety and thus hayabusa reduced it from 330 to 299 and claimed at fastest production bike at that time, didnt came up with any major modification including design till 2008 still a great competitor and successor while comparing to other major production bikes like h2, r1, cbr1000, bmw1000, ktm1000 .all other bikes are struggling to keep up with their models by continuous upgrades and modification but hayabusa is still rules the streets and known as king of streets, undispusted king, comparing the price and specs hayabusa is negotiable than any other . It has power looks strength truly a beast
