Spoiler-In-depth analysis on the battle
Strength: Chili Pepper
-Is able to be on par with a Crazy Diamond in the beginning of Part 4 Diamond is unbreakable. Catch The rainbow does not guarantee any strength or physical buffs to it.
Speed/Agility: Blackmore
-Catch The Rainbow provides the user to shift through rain and become intangible. Basically almost teleporting. Red Hot Chili Pepper has good “Attack speed” not speed in general. RHCP often uses other items to help its performance.
Durability: Blackmore
-is able to tank a multiple gunshots so that he may be able to regenerate With his stand. Basically invincible while in the rain unless the opponent has rotational energy.
Akira has no good endurance or durability feats, he has been knocked out by a single punch by Okuyasu.
Intelligence: Blackmore
Is able to easily deduct that Lucy Steel is holding the spinal corpse part with little evidence. Akira is extremely overconfident and often runs away when tasked against a opponent as strong as him.
Hax and abilities quality & Quantity:
Red Hot Chili Pepper is able to control electric energy from electric power from sources. Which is pretty interesting ability but compared to Catch The Rainbow, which hold “Full Rain Manipulation” which means anything you want you can do while raining through weather droplets. He can create Ice, hail, Iced Shards, sharpen Rain droplets, regeneration, Intangibility, and even making raindrops be able to cut down opponents.
He can do even more things but this is what we are shown in the manga.
Weapons and Skill:
Blackmore is a assassin and Akira Otoishi os just a psychopathic Guitarist. What else do you need to know💀
For adaptation and Versatility, he is able to glide through the rain almost seemingly fly through it. He is able to immediately process situations given and counter them. Akira is pretty good at this too but Blackmore does it way better.
Statements, Attack potency, power, attack speed: Akira Otoishi excels in his pure attack speed as he is able to get hits in against pre-V/Kira Josuke which he is also able to generate electricity strong enough to easily kill humans. Also stated to be stronger than Josuke “during that time”, as we know stands are able to grow through more experience which is still a good feat considering he still had pretty good feats shown.
Overall: Blackmore is able to easily access the rain and completely tear Akira apart through rain droplets, icicle shards and even dodge most of Akira’s attacks as it has been shown that some people can take hits which Blackmore is easily capable of. He has more access to different attacks and utility to cover range which he has shown that he can even survive being blown to bits. He is also way faster in both pure travel speed and Reaction speed which gives him the dexterity needed to dodge attacks from Akira.
