What you say about the yaris is 100% right I've been a I've been mechanic for 37 years and Honda and Toyota are probably the most reliable cars on the road and they always sell for a premium

Used car prices can vary a lot. I bought a high mileage car for £3k, insured for £4k and they said the book value was almost £7k. Buying cars with just over 130k miles can save you a lot of money it seems.

I think the majority of cars on the road have had bodywork on them at some point in their lives. I guess the risky ones are unrecorded damage repairs.

The comment you made about the lady choosing the white KA over the red one.Back in the sixties I worked in a garage which did work for a used car lot.I remember a similar situation where a customer chose a baby blue Austin 1100 over a beige one just because they liked the colour more . And it was obvious the beige one was a much better car.Even to the untrained eye.

What a nightmare day. Hopefully this week has been better for you. Just wondered what you do about insurance? Do you include your own cars on your trader policy or insure separate? I’m just starting up after 25 years in corporate sales and want to make sure that I get things right and don’t fall foul of rules and regulations. Who do you use as a broker / insurer? Any help gratefully received thanks for the videos Im learning so much.

James can i just say that in the midlands the kids dont want a yaris or a micra, they just dont like them, but both the micra and the yaris are more reliable than the much more popular corsa, s ect, but as i said the kids around us just dont want them as a first car.have sold one or two micra, s but they have been hard work.Most popular for us are C1 107 aygo corsa Fiat 500 KA and fiesta.Best sellers for us Fiesta and Fiat 500 by far.Keep up the good work James.

Like the video, do you have an office to sit people down to get P/X paperwork and finance completed. This is why in main dealers it is done with this in mind to move you through the process and get you to close and sign on the dotted line. On the Yaris sorry I have seen them much cheaper here near Reading £895-1275 private and £1750 dealer when over the 100K miles, example this one the smaller engine 1L Engine gumtree 1403711055 (add is nothing to do with me just a random search) £695.

I thibk a good reason why you may be struggling is the fact despite covid people actually seem to have more cash then ever and dealers and banks are more then happy to give great rates . Hope it picks up for you soon though

Yes it may only have 4000 miles on the clock but as soon as it gets used, all the rubber parts that haven't been used with probably start perishing and as soon as the milage goes up the value plummets down
What goes through some people's heads amazes me 😂

The lady with the KA’s I think some people get told not to buy Cat cars, it’s been repaired properly and it only registered, I don’t get some people but nothing you can do.

Personally i would buy a cat car unless i know its been professionally repaired
