The New Sweethearts - There Goes A Hot One
Показать описание
Recorded in then-member Paul Langworthy's Basement on his computer during June of 1996. Apart from the standard instuments (keyboard/guitar/bass), this album has a kazoo solo, a train whistle, and some harmonica action. The guitarist, Tsubasa "The Big Wing" Ohki, is a native of Japan who was in Chelmsford as a foreign exchange student. He wrote and performed "Goddamn Shitty Motherfucker". This album contains 15 extra bits inbetween the main songs. They range from little songs to short rap sessions to messages left on people's answering machines.
The album was formally released at a party at our friend John Stubblefield's house; the party (and album release) were a smashing failure. John was forced to charge "admission" to his party, and as everyone knows, nothing dampens enthusiasm like a small admissions fee. Ah well. We sold copies of this album to people at school, and anyone who bought it got a FREE subscription to the TNS newsletter.
