It's time Hawaii modernizes intersections to save lives. They should convert that into modern roundabout. It's much safer for pedestrians AND car drivers. It's a much shorter distance to walk for pedestrians and they only have to cross one direction of traffic at a time. Since cars are traveling at a slower speed than intersections, it prevents fatal accidents as well. This intersection will be a perfect spot for one since traffic is not that heavy anyways. For heavily dense areas i've read it can congest so it can't be used everywhere. But anywhere that's not a major intersection should be converted into roundabouts. It can reduce fatal crashes by up to 90% and overall crashes by 39%

Upgrading all traffic lights would have been safer, cheaper and improve traffic more than the money pit rail.
Great job elected officials, please remind me why you deserved a ridiculous raise.

Need one of those 4 way stop crosswalks like Waikiki and flashing warning light before intersection, don't know if will work on crazy drivers.

Walk over bridges over roads . Elderly would be able to walk at their own pace without fear of being injured or dying .

Pay attention when you cross thats all and dont expect others to stop. Wait before crossing people.

Salt Lake's landscape sucks. All concrete. Not near beach park. The mountain range is ugly.

Visibilty bricks work great on each side of crosswalk w baskets each side. Several states n countries use them to carry across n to hold up n says STOP and folks let pedestrian walk holding that brick/‘sign’

Pedestrians are really hard to see at night when they are crossing. I know I'm a Uber driver even if they have the right of way pedestrians need to be aware of there surroundings and have situational awareness.

That's the City&County for you, I work for them. If it affects them, that's when things get done. That neighborhood should go to City Hall and make a big stink, it's election year and Blangiardi not going like that. He want to still come out smelling like roses.
