thank you for playing my modpack, I think the problem with command running and item drops is a tps issue, the barrier thing is a feature from a mod, just kill the wizards to fix that

To explain the border that you couldn't pass, the structure you went to with the chest on top is from Electroblob's Wizardry which spawns a wizard. To remove the border you either need to die or kill the wizard, killing the wizard allows you to open the loot chest. Not sure why the wizard didn't spawn though, maybe it spawned underground or something. Also you couldn't run commands because you didn't have cheats enabled, if you select "Open To Lan" you can then choose to enable cheats if you forget to enable it on the world creation screen.

You didn't mess up anything when allocating more RAM. Minecraft automatically lowers it from the amount you actually type in to allocate.

So according to the GUI theres at least 168.000 items/blocks in the modpack. Thats massive, enough content for a lifetime.

i made a modpack thats still in patching phase but nearly done on 1.20.1 with 550 mods im naming it immersionary
it still maintains the minecraft feel while adding and changing basically everything
