In the 80s and 90s guys used to take the all-star game a lot more serious, maybe not go completely all the way out but definitely in that 60-70% range. These guys now and just standing around and watching each other shoot. Sad really.

The lack of defense is just dumb. Does anyone seriously think this game is good as is? So frustrating that they get together absolutely stacked teams and it's just a garbage product. Imagine how good this game could be if they were actually trying.

Do away with the all star game or make it meaningful some way, so that way it can be somewhat competitive. Let the players go hard then give them a 2 week break to spend time with their loved ones.

I know this is the All-Star game, but the lack of defense currently in the NBA is appalling. Defense used to win championships.

All star games suck so bad now, they don’t even try I remember growing up and watching those great East Vs West games with MJ, bird, magic, and even later once shaq and AI got in the league. I get it these players don’t wanna get hurt but why even have it people still pay for this, it would be nice to give them an actual show
