Chinese-Cuban cuisine is less frequent, but still attainable. We suggest La Dinastia on the Upper West Side, on 72nd.

La Dinesta is wonderful. Very sad to see the loss of the nearby and also beloved La Caridad, but glad La Dinesta is still going strong and keeping the flame of chino-latino food lit on the UWS.

Growing up in the 70’s/80’s, there were a handful of Chino-Latino restaurants. Now just down to a few. Glad to see Dinastia is still at it. One new thing is we have actual Chifa restaurants which are less Americanized versions of that merged food cuisine. Over in Queens.

I want you to know that Latinos are privileged to share your culture together in the restaurant table! Thank you,

I recognise that woman at the end. Did she work with Anthony Bourdain or something?

Yep, it's not easy working 80 hours a week for little pay, dealing with rude customers, alcoholic/drug addicted employees.
