Yes, love the love for Star Wars Villainous! Playing that set, it was probably the most excited we've been since getting the original Disney box.

And hope you have a great time at LevelUp! I'm hoping Alex will bring it back to New England in the summer (I've never been able to drive to a con or retreat before, and it was the perfect size for my partner to be able to enjoy it, as well), and that perhaps we'll get to play a game then. It was a blast getting to meet Jenna, Alex, Meg, and a bunch of other folks whose stuff I enjoy; you were definitely missed.

Absolutely agree, Root seems more daunting than it actually is. I was hesitant to get into it at first, since I would need to teach each faction to new players having never played it myself. Ended up playing for the first time with a French copy (I don't speak French). It was much easier to pick up than expected. Rules are well structured.

I have a question for you guys. You both play sooo many different games. Do you have trouble remembering how to play when you go back to a game that you haven’t played in a bit? And how do you go about learning a new game? Do you look at YouTube videos? Read the rules completely first? Or, open it up and play through your first play while reading the rules the first time? Just wondering… learning to play a complicated new game can be time consuming to me. Thanks! Loving your rankings videos. 👍🏻
