Would GOP candidates support Trump if he's convicted?

The first 2024 Republican debate included eight GOP presidential candidates. Former president Trump skipped the debate in Milwaukee and posted an interview with Tucker Carlson instead. All but one candidate said they would support Trump even if he’s convicted.

What's wild is you know if someone asks Trump if he'd support a republican nominee if it wasn't him he'd say no and probably threaten to run as an independent.

It’s so funny how when Trump was found innocent in the impeachment hearings, everyone said that it means we aren’t allowed to criticize him any further because that means he didn’t do it and we should trust the courts. Yet if he’s found guilty, it means the court is corrupt and we shouldn’t listen to the ruling.

Funny how the only thing that really seems to matter about the courts opinion is if it aligns with yours
