Everything in life is a remix. Originality is not really as sacred as we make it out to be, and we shouldn't feel bad when we learn from other people's inventions, innovation is not bad.

At the end of the day, we all share the success of our new learnings.

That is pretty much the same as modding a game or doing a remix of an already successful song, isn't it? Taking a great base and modifying it into an overall better version and stamp your name onto it, in order to ripe the gains.

Some people may see it as a bad thing, due to the popular morality mind set.
Personally, I see it as a clever short-cut. As for my morality, the idea doesn't give me any bad feeling. All the opposite actually. Why? Because that's the same as a succession. No one feels bad when inheriting from a dead relative, as it gives a second life to the story and the work of that person. Then, why feel bad about giving a second life to an old invention / work?

''When learning from someone you are 'stealing'.'' The more I think about it, the more it makes sense to me.

Thanks again! Yet another share from you that helped me realise something (^.^)
