How the hell in the world can anybody be thinking that Cejudo was not good. Dude tried best and even had moments where he rocked Song. As an old guy he didn't look like he has lost a step to be very fair.

IDK why Henry is getting so much hate from Dana, CCC looked good didn't look like he lost a step and imo was hitting song with the more powerful shots. Song landed more on Henry but Henry had the more effective landed shots.

Double eye poke and a kick to the balls but no point taken is absurd and to defend it is even worse. Dana doesn't like Henry and wants dudes like him to fail, why? Because Henry tried to hold out for more money, didn't get it, and left to stsrt a family. Dana only likes the fighters who act like the slave gladiators that Dana thinks they are. Even gladiators could win their freedom.

Rules aren't about sussing out peoples' psychology. If you look into it at all, you see that it was a blatant eye poke, and intentionality doesn't matter in that case. It's what happened in the fight, in real time, in physical life, not in what you think the fighter is thinking. Absurd. Henry is frustrating, but in this case, a point should have been deducted from Song.

Why does it have to be “intentional” wtf. Look at it this way. He’s saying this bs. Meanwhile a non- English speaking person, speaking very foreign will get a point deducted, simply off the fact that he was warned once, but clearly can’t comprehend what the ref is saying because they barely know English. Even though the eye poke wasn’t intentional with the foreigner. Wild one. Dude makes up the rules every other weekend on what should be viewed as “right”. Points haven’t been deducted since 2020 during lock downs when you had no fans/ and the ref could concentrate better and had balls to call the point. Only in prelims though you won’t find them deducting points in main events ever. The rule is stupid because it’s never judge consistently. They pick and choose in the moment and 9-10 times they dont and it just leaves a one eye fighter defenseless causing more harm. Fighter can’t back out because 1 needs the money. 2 can’t lose fans/support for backing out. 3 won’t find a next fight easily because he copped out. Tough but they really should call eye pokes more often.

That is the right question, number one he had his hand open, than he poke in one place that you can hurt your opponent, and it happens to be the smallest point in the whole face and the only place a poke can hurt and debilitate an opponent, on top of that is illegal, and you want to judge intention??? Henry robbed himself of the no contest by finishing the third round. He finished the third round because he thought he was up 2-1. If his vision was that bad he would have had the fight stopped in the third. He wanted the score cards read and didn't want to finish the fight. Still songs fault for ruining the fight with bad eye poke but Henry was clearly gaming the system to try to get the win.

You would severely curb eye pokes if every time a point was deducted. Fighters would control their fingers if they actually receive penalty for it.
