Introduction to Python for data science: Microsoft Professional Program VLOG week 4

Follow my path through the Microsoft Professional Program in Artificial Intelligence (AI).

This week we are discussing the Introduction to Python for Data Science course. This course covers Python concepts that are fundamental and can be seen as foundational. It is necessary for future learning, but it is also simple and easy.

The Microsoft program in AI with Azure teams up with Datacamp for this course. Datacamp’s python development environment is unique for them, and has an iPython workspace which allows you to run commands without having the output graded. It is an excellent environment for learning core techniques.

The material in this course is fundamental and foundational python concepts for data science. You are not going to be able to go right out and get a data science job based on this course, there is a lot more to it than that. However because this is foundational it means it is on the path of what you need to get a data science job.
