LEGO Star Wars Summer 2023 Rumors are here. On the good side we have multiple LEGO Ashoka sets, YAVIN, a MASSIVE UCS set that could be a Death Star or Jabba's Sail Barge, and a Republic Swamp Speeder that'll certainly have NEW LEGO Clone Troopers. Unfortunately though the 4 $15 sets many fans hoped would be Minifigure Accessory Packs reincarnated are an overpriced Microfighter and 3 LEGO Star Wars Mechs. OOF.

Mechs might be the biggest L for LEGO Star Wars ever. Buy all 3 and you get 3 figs for $45. Not making these Minifigure Packs like the Clone & Hoth packs from 2022 that were unquestionably immensely popular is an all-time BAD move.

To be fair if they treat the swamp speeder like the republic fighter tank and give us two unique clone troopers like 442nd or something and a jedi and a couple of droids it could be an incredible set...

Tons of terrible choices, buildable mechs, buildable Chewie and microfighter price increase but I'm hyped about the yavin 4 potential including a microfighter

What a shame about the Mechs. I was really looking forward to the figure packs, but it sucks that they aren't a go. Hard pass on this year's summer wave, except for the swampspeeder if it's good enough.
