Thailand's Constitutional Court has ruled that Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin be removed from office.
The court said he breached ethics rules by appointing a cabinet minister with a criminal conviction. Thailand's parliament must now choose a new prime minister, triggering further political upheaval. The decision comes one week after the same court dissolved the anti-establishment Move Forward Party, which won last year's election.
