Fun fact, I watched an old bikes and beards video and the dealer they bought one from quoted about $18, 000 just to replace the chrome pieces on the Rune. And that’s even if they could find the parts cause as Dan mentioned. Almost all of the parts for the rune were made exclusively for the Rune.

Worked with a dude who had a Rune and even as a union electrician the harley riders respected his bike enough to not fuck with it which is very rare being that Harleys used to be made locally

My neighbor had one of these when I was a young lad. He would sit in his driveway, no shirt on, chest hair blowing in the wind, gut out, a bucket with a sponge, some soap, and a beer. He would sit outside with this bike for a few hours almost every day, but I never once saw him actually ride it.

Where the hell are all these Runes popping up from? They used to be like non-existent hahaha. I had one come through my shop early last year, and damn... That front end alone is 18k to replace, Dunlop had specific tire sizes made for that machine that are no longer in production, and impossible to find. To service the machine, it's actually in the manual to lay the bike down onto its side hahah.
