I loved the pace of this video. It was a get it all done, but it felt calm and soothing instead of rushed and stressed 🥰

I separate work (at home) and home life by separating them mentally. (1) no personal calls and I keep a notebook for any personal things I need to do (like what some keep beside their bed) = less distractions, (2) I do my hair, light makeup and wear a nice work top during my work hours (Ready for surprise FaceTime, too), (3) at lunch, I return personal calls and may start crockpot meal but nothing time consuming. (4) I set blocks of time for my tasks. 2 hours X, 1 hour Y, 3 hours Z, 1 hour review my day/week and prioritize future tasks, etc. Some blocks have specific times and other blocks float but all work must be done before 4pm. My me-time 30+ min must be done by bedtime, sometimes it is a nap or going to bed early. I have two social blocks a week to speak with friends in person or not. Friendships are important. (5) One day a week is a half day. I only run errands, shop and have non-business appointments on my weekly half day. No more trying to fill a void by shopping.

Glad you’re back! You can definitely tell that you are rested and recharged and that a calmness has come over you. When you were talking about the family dinner it made me think back to earlier years when mine we’re running here and there. As I am coming up on my 60th birthday I would like to say to young moms. Don’t get on that fast moving train of constant chaos with over scheduling your children. It’s not worth the time you miss out on as a family.

I am so glad you were able to take that time off to rejuvenate yourself. As the wife of an ADHD husband for 35 years, I can relate to your challenges. Since we retired I had gotten out of the habit of planning and making lists and both of us have gotten a little lost and the house has become a cluttered mess. I'm glad I got to spend an abbreviated day with you.

This was so peaceful and calming to watch. It reminded me to slow down and take things one at a time. I never used to have ADHD, but as I’ve gotten older, after some traumatic incidents in life, I now have ADHD. I am trying to slow down and focus. You have me some great ideas! As I am always, all over the place with projects and can’t seem to complete them all! Your bread and dinner looked delicious and your decor is beautiful! I know routines help a lot, which I am trying to do. I love the baskets, to organize projects! Thanks for a calming, beautiful video!
