In AutoCAD, the 3D Polyline tool allows you to create a polyline in three-dimensional space. It enables you to draw connected line segments in the X, Y, and Z axes to create complex shapes and paths. Here's a description of how to use the 3D Polyline tool in AutoCAD:

Open AutoCAD and start a new drawing or open an existing one.
Ensure that you're working in a 3D modeling workspace or switch to one using the workspace drop-down menu in the Quick Access Toolbar.
Select the "Home" tab in the ribbon, and in the "Draw" panel, click on the "Polyline" command or type "PLINE" in the command line and press Enter.
In the command line, you will be prompted to specify the start point of the 3D polyline. Click on a point in the drawing area or enter the coordinate values manually.
Continue clicking on points to define the subsequent vertices of the polyline. You can move the cursor in any direction in the X, Y, or Z axes to create a 3D polyline. You can also type in coordinate values or use object snaps to accurately define the points.
To change the elevation or Z-coordinate value of a specific point, press the "Tab" key while specifying the point. This will prompt you to enter a new elevation value.
Press Enter to complete the 3D polyline.
After creating the 3D polyline, you can further modify and manipulate it using various editing tools in AutoCAD. For example, you can add or remove vertices, adjust the elevations of individual points, fillet or chamfer corners, and apply different visual styles to enhance its appearance.

Please note that the specific steps may vary slightly depending on the version of AutoCAD you're using. Additionally, you can refer to the AutoCAD documentation or access the built-in Help system within the software for detailed instructions and additional options related to using the 3D Polyline tool.
