I FULLY support this reason!!! No game company should ever be doing this to the voice actors, this IS THEIR LIFE!!! They should be involved in the voices for the characters. If Apex ever decide to do this, I'm quitting permanently.

Me personally, i think AI can be a good tool but it should never replace an actual person. VA, programing, developing, concept art, offical art, desging, etc. should never put someone out of a job.

This is a real issue. Been affecting Hoyoverse a lot recently. EN voice overs don't even exist anymore for the usually voiced events. Or they only have 1 voiced char which makes it even more awkward then having them be silent.

I never want AI to voice any characters ever. Human VAs breathe life and emotion into characters and make me care about them. No machine can replace human creativity.

100% support the strike. But they could have still had a trailer that focused action/season pass/maps/weapons reveal. All while using stock lines they have had from characters. Respawn could have shifted to still put out a trailer to respect the strike and also cater to fans. Dunno. Really good video here. Brings light to the AI challenges actors now face.

The VA’s are everything they put so much life into those characters they deserve to strike and have their own voices copy-written and no company able to use it however they like

Ngl this could also be the reason that the lwgenda dont have a voice line for the "hop up gun sheild generator" cause all they say when pinging one is "hop up"

Removing Apex on Linux will hardly do anything. If they REALLY wanted to adress the cheating problem, they'd get rid of Easy AntiCheat and switch to an actual anti cheat

Honestly the Strike is completely understandable AI voices can and will get to the point where Voice Actors could become obsolete and nothing can beat HUMAN talent there’s more emotion that even technology can’t copy

I like the Apex Voice actors so much, I love watching videos from them they bring life into the game. Don’t want them to be be replaced. Human > Machine

If there's anything from respawn we feel the most connected to it would be the voice actors, they literally are our favorite heros and villans. I've got a lot of admiration for the crew for how they brought the energy that gave the game life.
