Hey mate, nice video I very enjoy this format. I find that colourful San Martin dive watch most attractive. But this one is let down by its non-hacking movement as you rightly say. The new BB36 homage is also very nice but this one's just too expensive due to its choice of movements, either PT5000 or Sellita. For both watches the NH35 would be a better choice. What happened to this lovely 36 mm Steeldive dive watch with a Seiko meca quartz movement? All of a sudden you don't see that any more it has been replaced with a far less attractive 39 mm with a standard 1-tick-per-second quartz movement?

I'll be picking up a watch roll and the Rdunae R3 Supercompressor ... I've found it for $170 USD but no sales discounts for that price ... others have discounts but start closer to $199 meaning that with the discounts it will still be more expensive.

Also eyeing up the Gustav Becker PVD coated automatic (seagull movement) Panerai Luminor homage - small seconds and GMT function on a leather(ish? You never know) strap for just under $90USD again no discounts on that one.

I'd like to see some channels start to test the dive ratings again ... I know a few did it in the past. 200-300 is hard to test but 50-100 meters is probably achievable.

Nice list, thanks. Might get the Didun, undecided as to color. Probably black or white. I saw a Thorn tuxedo (looks like a Baltany) that looks interesting, but the Thorn logo font looks quite amateurish, especially on a tuxedo style watch. There is also a Carnival field style quartz that looks interesting. All under 50 USD as sadly our customs may or not slobber anything over that limit with a tax of 50 to 100%. That renders a lot of the AliEx stuff much less attractive.

Looking forward to the comparo between the Addiesdive and the yet-unnamed-other-one ;). Should be fun!

You don't need to apologize for mispronounced brand names. It seems to be the case that they take some consonants and vowels and scramble them into a word that isn't trademarked. 😆

Been 100% honest
After seeing the Omega &Swatch Speedmaster my expectations regarding the AliExpress sale had dropped dramatically
I lost interest in almost all these watches and I am just trying to get one of these Swatch.
Anyway, I would like to thank you the effort and there are some terrific watches in the list
