I've already spoken with postal employees who have stated mail service began it's slow down weeks ago and are accelerating it. Packages that are sitting for two weeks at destination offices being set aside up to two weeks, routes being affected by cutting hours and workers, they are actually dismantling sorting machines that would normally be used everyday, that will slow down ballot sorting to be done by hand, trying to close remote small offices and routes, stopping all overtime to catch up and more. His lackey Postmaster general has given all these directions frustrating and worrying these postal workers.
Trump is also trying to eliminate the drop off boxes for drive up or walk up deposits of ballots to bypass postal delays. They have told me that people may need to actually drop off mail in ballots the day of election at their local polling stations.
They are busy little bees working behind the scenes to ruin any success of safe mail in voting. And Trump's already cast doubt about results, setting the stage for chaos and doubt about results.
I am in a high risk group and cannot pay my rent and utility bills because I cannot work and didn't qualify for unemployment, and burned thru all my hard work savings the last week of July. Trump and the Republicans clearly only care about helping out their wealthy donors and don't give a hoot about the rest of us, leaving us just hung out to dry.
After the coming evictions and utility shutoffs, people will be having a very difficult time trying to vote also if they are displaced from homes. Will we have shelters to go to amidst the pandemic??? Will they rescue banks when mortgages are defaulted on??? Will they throw any crumbs at all to us needing the most help???
Lots of questions for our elected officials who seem to forget who put them in office in the first place.
It's terrifying because my landlord is pressing me hard and our utility company is giving us till mid September to catch up on bills now.
I always worked hard, tried not to use credit cards, save a little, eat inexpensively, sacrificed many things. Now, for what???? To lose it all because of government incompetence, lies, and mismanagement. Friends with small businesses are totally ruined. They will never recover, and our country doesn't seem to care. It's an all around disaster!!!
Please, please, please, vote them out in November!!!
I personally am going to risk my life to do that, and if it takes crawling over broken glass, I will do that to vote Trump out!!!
