Only fitting that each team has won a tight home game so far in their season series. Great display of hockey by two of the top teams in the league. I wouldn’t mind another playoff battle between them.

Im a Bruins fan surrounded by a family of Leafs fans and I would never admit this to them but I think Toronto will be our biggest roadblock to the Cup this year. I know some of us like to laugh at Toronto's playoff futility but they match up well vs the Bruins and always seem to play us tough. Even in the past playoff series the Bruins needed either 7 games or miracle comebacks to eliminate them. I see the Leafs getting their act together with building a proper defense corp (Bring back Gardiner please, lol) and it makes me nervous. Even Brad Marchand said the other day its only a matter of time before the Leafs go on a playoff run, They have too much talent. Look I hate the Leafs and this was painful for me to type but Im just keeping it real, no sense in avoiding reality.

The Leafs beat themselves tonight. Inconsistent goaltending and unforced turnovers killed them. The Tavares turnover was especially bad. A little over a minute left in a tie game and your veteran captain doesn't have the poise to make the safe, simple play. Very frustrating to watch.
