Never bought an action camera before and bought the 13 bc its $299. Did not want to spend more, but wanted flagship device.
Thats why I bought it. Costs less than the rest, and I have not owned anything like this before.

I still think the average person looking for an action camera is likely to purchase a GoPro and end up with several accessories. At least in the US. Personally, I want to see the Ace Pro 2 vs. DJI Action 5 and may be purchasing one of those to replace my Hero 10. Honestly though, it still does what I need it to do which is beach and snorkeling. However, when I do these activities, I often find myself vlogging with it near the water. Arguably, I would be better off doing the vlogging parts with my cellphone because for these, I'll likely never bring other cameras.

Honestly if Gopro doesn't release a completely new camera next year then there done as a company probably they need to listen to what there customers want

If acepro2 have a new wide lens like the max lens 2.0 then we are living the dream, itll offically be like the gopro 16.. gopro was 1step behind this time last year not getting lowlight sorted, now thy're 4 steps behind..

I can't believe they didn't go with a larger sensor. They stayed at 1/1.9". I'm going for the DJI Action 5 when it comes out in late September 2024.

Had gopro every year since the 8 in 2020, didnt get 9.
8 and 10 were beautiful, 11 nd 12 wer bearly doabil.. 13 is a complete cash grab pushin to by all the new accessories..
Acepro2 is my dream now, fed up with mud lowlight footage 70% of year!

👍 . Too many fan boys . I think GoPro are only surviving on brand loyalty . Me being a DJI user I brought a GoPro, just to see what the hype was about, I sent it back the next day .. it was just so laggy and frustrating .. it sucks any creativity out of you

If you actually gonna buy all the lenses you gonna have more than 1000 bucks down on the cam and accesories. As soon as they switch to a bigger sensor everything wont fit anymore. They should have released that on the gopro 11 than you would have had atleast 3 years with newer models that still fit now you just have the 13 and you wont know if your lenses will fit the 14 thats just dumb.
