I pray you will eliminate any trace of the “i need it” excuse, or “it’s not hurting anyone” but instead, that you grant us a peace that says that even though it is bad, and it is sinful, we are forgiven because of your sacrifice on the cross. Your hurting yourself, your giving into your vices, into your addiction, quit.
Do not be slave to your desires. It is said you must deny yourself to follow God.
It means to deny yourself of the worldly pleasures.

when you do this sin, you hurt your connection with God, you hurt yourself, and you forget this, The body is the temple for the holy spirit within you.

Do not disgrace it.

My dad struggled with porn and masturbation in his youth. So he decided to do an anti porn workshop to help guys, as many teens (he spoke on it) said they'd love for him to help them. 500 teens from over 100 churches contacted him for help. He contacted all 100 churches. Every church except one basically hung up on him when he said he wanted to volunteer to help said youth with porn/addiction (he gave names of kids at each exact church). Honestly so shameful. Breaks my heart that churchs don't want to help their youth.

Then church is surprised when those same youth turn 18 and are out the door.

I fell into temptation today’s, it’s actually been 3 days in a row. Usually I feel very sad and mad after but I’ve completely gotten numb. I know this video came up for me for a reason. Please pray for me.

I was plagued by this sin all my teenage years. Whenever the pastor would talk about sin, it haunted my conscience. I knew it was wrong, even though a trusted confidant and mentor told me it wasn't a big deal. It led me into a terrible cycle of increasing sin until two things happened: first, I realized God's power to grant victory, and second (after a relapse), I was shocked to my senses by an ugly foretaste of where I would end up if I continued down that path. Praise GOD I am clean! His blood doesn't just forgive our sin, but removes it from us. He is good.

Coincidently, this is precisely what our pastor talked about last sunday. He also pressed we should talk about it more and other taboo topics in an appropriate manner, especially the parents.

to be honest, this isn't only a men thing, woman struggle with it too. I'm saying this as one- I've always struggled with masturbating, but recently, I've given up on it. thank you for this video, it really helps people :)

As a woman that struggles with this I saw the thumbnail on your video that it had a woman on it so I had some hope! As long as people have excuses for everything, they will not stop sinning. Only when they are truly open to change and stop doing whatever it is they're doing, God will break those chains and free them.

I need prayers as this is something I constantly fall back into. I have been trying recently to break this and my porn/lust addictions. I have been reading the Bible again for the first time in years. Going to church weekly. Praying. Memorizing verses. Cutting out things that facilitate me to stumble. Listening to sermons on YouTube. And I keep giving in. I know my actions to continue and sin make God angry, and I am incurring His wrath, but I just keep on sinning regardless. Please, please, please pray for me, my brothers and sisters. I need to be free.

Understanding how corn/masturbation is your coping mechanism is a super important step in recovery in my and other friends’ experience. You may actually be dealing with some deep traumas and childhood hurts and resorted to numbing yourself with a falsified feeling of connection and pleasure. Please do some soul-searching, talk to a friend/pastor, seek therapy, I know you can do it and it’s so much better to be free! One step at a time everyone!

I dealt with this before I became a Christian a few months ago. Satan knows it’s one of the few things that can take me away from God. I did it this morning before church, and I always feel super guilty afterwards, every time. Then I remembered seeing this video on my feed a couple months ago and decided to watch it. Makes me feel 1000% better knowing that others struggle with it and how I can break free. Thanks so much Isaac! Please pray for me and wish me luck as I try to break free from this habit🙏❤️✝️
