Thank you for this. I have been seeing so much hate towards Bohemian Rhapsody and Green Book and I wasn't sure why as I enjoyed both movies. This helped shed some light and your arguments against the opposition was well thought out and I agree fully.

It seemed obvious to me that the HFPA gave Gaga the globe for song and not for acting so she'd walk away somewhat a winner and reward Bohemian Rhapsody since the Oscars won't touch it.

I agree Grace, I thought that Bohemian Rhapsody was great at portraying Freddy Mercuries stage persona and It doesn't take a genius to understand that Freddy Mercury only wanted to share his version of Freddy. Seriously lets give Freddy the privacy he fought for so hard his life was already hard enough.
