And, yes, they are blood brothers. And they still tour to this day. They have a lot of hits. But not many people from the younger generation know them or appreciate them, but they had good music that just uplifted the soul. They try to bring people together.

I have very wonderful memories of this song. Reminds me of my absolute favorite uncle on my daddy’s side at that time. He ALWAYS came over with his son on Fridays every week. He would carry us to my favorite country store and tell us grab whatever we wanted. He knew I loved boiled peanuts and this store the best. The summer came & he got an in-ground pool. Of course, we would go over to cook outs and we would have a blast in the pool and the adults would do their thing. I remember dancing to this song with him. ❤️💙

This was a giant #1 crossover pop and country hit for the them in the mid 70s. They had another big hit you might react to: "If I said you had a beautiful body, would you hold it against me" A long title but everyone got the double entendre of the title. They were probably the biggest brothers duo since the Everly Brothers back in the 50s.

I remember The Bellamy Brothers very well, & I was 16 yrs old!! Just LOVED their music. 'Let your love flow' is definately my favourite, but many excellent songs too!!

Turned down a chance to play keyboards for them 5 yrs ago. Live and learn i guess. One of my best friends is their road manager and sound guy. Discovered the other day that David wrote the song "Spiders and Snakes" that was recorded by Jim Stafford back in the 70s.

Gerard Depardieu ( biggest I can remember him being in was the movie Bogus. absolutely loved that one ) yeah he does favor him a little. Great song. some others that would have been out around that time would have probably been like The Statler Bros and maybe the Forester sisters. The leads a really nice alto I Fell in Love Again Last night was a pretty big one. Good Valentine song :)

Yes, they really are brothers, and their life story is very interesting. This song actually debuted on the rock charts and went straight to the top in 15 countries. But the music industry has never really figured out where to place them, because like Home Free, they cover every genre of music, and even though they are in their seventies now, they are still going strong with their own original music, created in their home studio. BTW they have entertained in more than 75 countries to completely sold out crowds, and people beg them to come back! They are phenomenal!!
