Guns n' Roses - Axl Rose - Sweet Child O' Mine - ft Gabriela Gunčíková - Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy
“Sweet Child O’ Mine” was the third single released from Gun N’ Roses’ first album and it climbed its way to number one after the first two singles flopped.
One of the unsuccessful singles was “Welcome To the Jungle” which after the success of “Sweet Child” was re-released and then became a hit.
Can you think of any other similar examples where the success of one song went on to make a previously unpopular song a hit? Share with me in the comments!
The original version of “Sweet Child” apparently had a third verse that Axl had written but it was cut out because the record company thought it made the song too long.
We hope you enjoy Gabriela's take on the tune, let us know what you think!
