it is my head cannon that when Einstein found the kinetic energy at relativistic speeds. he derived it through some stuff, with triangles, whatever. but then he approximated his expression with the Taylor series, and was like ohhh shit, it aligns with classical mechanics, as it should. Profit.

Let sin x = x

Where x is the first term linear approximation of the Taylor series

Youu said kinetic energy of a particle, then why would we ever use the classical KE equation for this? Surely on the relativity one would be used? Why have you included it here please?

I had the funnest and best times of my life in this course with amazing and smart people and professors. I enjoyed watching Alfonso's videos and its unfortunate that he is not with us anymore! I wish all the future MAT137 students the best and remember if you put the work and effort in this course, you will be successful no matter how hard it is. It's important to understand how to study in university which is something that many of the first year students struggle with . Thank you to those who supported my journey in this course . Love u all ~ 💞
