We are a family of 5 and I budget $100 per person per month for toiletries, groceries and household/cleaning items. When grocery shopping I usually combine toiletries, household and personal together because it is too much of a hassle plus I use lots of coupons so it is easier. I really love watching your videos and you have given me lots of ideas. I use my regular zip around wallet and I use tabbed binder clips instead. I am still working on my budget binder and as far as categories since I tend to coupon at CVS weekly getting most of our toiletries for free or extremely reduced it allows for more room in our grocery budget for groceries. I may use either couponing or CVS as a category and reduce our grocery budget by $50 for the month. Thanks for the excellent ideas.

I have been loving watching your videos! I ended up waiting to buy the Dagne Dover you mentioned a few weeks ago and was so glad I did because I won a gift card at a Christmas party that virtually paid for it! Also, what kind of nail polish do you use? Your nails always look so nice :)

do you separate your groceries and household items when you're checking out at the grocery store to track spending in those categories? i used to shop separately but have gotten lazy, so i just lump together our groceries and household budget out of convenience.
