It's not going to help. Get your kids out of CCSD. There are lots of good alternatives: private schools, charter schools, distance learning, homeschooling, homeschooling co-ops, etc.

This district must be broken up. Several districts would create competition between districts both for test scores and teacher retention. Students and teachers would benefit. There are way, way too many district level employees versus teachers in the classroom.

45 students in a room with 1 teacher is not a healthy learning environment. Especially when district secretaries have their own secretaries while their boss stands around doing nothing.

Henderson can essentially be fully independent from Clark County by forming its own school district. It has its own city government, police, and fire. why not this as well. Summerlin, Mesquite, North Las Vegas, Boulder City, and a joint City of Las Vegas/rest of unincorporated Clark County can be the other districts.
