These people are completely insane. I just paid my last car payment yesterday...it was$233 month.
It has 75K miles on it and I'm NEVER selling it
Love my Corolla!

I worked at a car dealer. After seeing the numbers firsthand, I have now only paid cash for used cars from private individuals since then. I will never have a car payment again.

WTH I've paid off credit cards and cut a lot of debt. Spending is way down. All the money that used to go to crap, now sits and grows in my it's like a warm hug every time I look at my bank account.

My 07 Jeep Grand Cherokee has a $0 car payment, and is only $53 a month for full coverage insurance. 150k miles and still running smooth.

Im 34 and I’ve never had a car payment. My dad owned a garage when I was growing up and now he’s an automechanics instructor. He was always against purchasing new vehicles, especially financing them because they are such a quickly depreciating asset. Our newest vehicle is a 2019 hybrid Kia and we bought it outright 2 years ago after someone lease returned it. Our other car is a 2009 Hyundai but it does the job. You don’t need 2 brand new cars, especially if you can’t afford them!

As a European, this shit blows my mind. You know how we do it over here? We buy 2nd hand, full price on sale. No car payment. No interest. You fully own the car. No one's coming to repo your shit for missing a payment. Imagine paying 25-50% your monthly salary on a depreciating asset that's exclusively used to get you from A to B.

The only vehicle payment worth what they're paying is for an older RV that you can live in if you needed to.
All vehicles depreciate!😮

What's really crazy is....those employees have seen the price increase on vehicles, recieved good pay for those sales, and still bought one. 😂

My husband & I own several vehicles, but my daily driver (when it’s not winter) is my 2001 Hyundai Elantra.

I’ve had her almost 6yrs and have only put a total of $3k into it. It had less than 90k miles when I got it, now she’s pushing 158k and has served me WELL!!

I’ll only get rid of her when she’s ready for the scrap yard!!

The videos reassure me all my financial decisions haven’t been terrible. 😮

This is what most people do. They don't make much money but they feel like they should be able to have a new vehicle every 2 to 3 years. Then they complain they can't get ahead in life.

Bought my 2017 ford fusion in 2017. Paid for it in full.. it’s 2025 and I’m barely gunna hit 60k miles. No payment, no issues at all just nothing. Still looks brand new

I have no car payments and it's so amazing. I can't imagine people paying so much for a box. My Honda is so wonderful, and I appreciate it more and more every year.

SO GLAD I was able to pay cash for my new vehicle! No car payment, title in hand and the insurance is cheap💯💪
