Vintage 1979 Coleman 275 Lantern

We're back with yet another old Coleman lantern, and this 275 is one I've been wanting for a good amount of time. Enjoy!

Nice, got mine for $30 with broken globe. Replaced with white picket fence style from eBay. Changed out valve with a/c valve for peace of mind. It’s one of my favorite turds

Sweet ! I have 2 of these 275s, and I Like them, these are the same fonts coleman used to make some Sears lanterns.

I have the same model, made in 03/1978 but it has the white picket lines around the globe.

You got a great old lantern, keep it nice. Great video, like to see you replace a Schrader valve next time so we can if we get a defective one. I’ve got 4 of these I love them, they start easy and are bright!!! These look awesome with a painted fount in sky blue or cream, of course we can’t paint the vent.

Although Turds have their shortcomings, they are awesome lanterns. I have three Turds, which I completely disassembled.

My uncle has and old Coleman lantern like this one, but his looks a little different, his was bought in 1974 or 1975 from another family member, the thing still works.🤪🤪🤪
